Cabbage Coconuts Eggplant Ginger Ladies Finger Celery Carrots and Shallots

Took a ride to Vietnamese market to purchase Cabbage, Eggplant. Coconut, Ginger, Pears, Cilantro and Neem leaves. All this for New Year’s day lunch I am cooking tomorrow!

The spices here include Fenugreek, Asafoetida, Turmeric, garnished with Neem leaves and Cilantro

    chandru, did you use neem leaves or curry leaves ..
    all the dishes look yummy and I am surprised you could get asfoetida in vietnam market ..
    do you get sugarcane also ….

    Yes, you can get sugar cane, bangalore eggplant, banana flower, bitter gourd and a lot more vegetables and root plants you would find in India. I do OK with the vegetables, not sure how to cook chenai or cheppankizhangu etc.
