Notes: I love this skirt. I’ve worn it a couple of times, once on an 87′ day and once on a cool evening. Both times it was comfortable, cool and warm – go figure. It stays in place and moves beautifully, I am so glad that I made it. I got a lot of nice compliments on it too!
I knit the 1×1 ribbing at the waist in garter stitch ribbing to decrease the amount of stretch. (Knit 1 stitch, purl 1 stitch, repeat to end. Next round knit, alternate these two rounds.) Garter stitch ribbing made a huge difference, I highly recommend it.
