Pattern: Fitted Knits by Stephanie Japel – a combination of Short-sleeved Cardigan with Ribbing p. 70 & Boatneck Bluebell Pullover p. 98
Started: 5.20.07
Finished: 6.29.07
Yarn: Knit Picks Andean Silk 55% Superfine Alpaca 23% Silk, 22% Merino Wool, 96 yards/ 50 grams, Color Olive, I used 475 grams or 912 yards.
Needles: Knit Picks Options #7
Gauge: 4.5 st/in, 6.25 rows/in
Ravelery link: Boatneck Bluebell Sweater
Notes: From the Short-sleeved Cardigan with Ribbing, I have taken the neckline, and the sleeve shape and number of rows of ribbing. From the Boatneck Bluebell Pullover, I have used the same weight of yarn, and the overall shaping. I originally purchased this yarn to make Kate Gilbert’s Equestrian Blazer from I.K. Winter 2006. I knit most of the blazer and didn’t like the way it looked on me, so I’m now re-using the yarn.

I’m very pleased with the fit of this cardigan. I tapered the sleeve down to 8″ at the wrist.
