I have a BFA in Fibers, and have been knitting since 2001, during the first few years I knit only dishcloths which I gave as gifts. When the book Wrap Style came out I started knitting garments and learned specific techniques from KnittingHelp.com
This blog is primarily about knitting, but it also includes posts about painting and will from time to time detail other fiber work such as weaving, dyeing, sewing, quilting, rug hooking and hand bound books.
My preference is to knit garments from the top down and seamless, as in Barbara G. Walker’s book “Knitting from the Top”. I rewrite pattern instructions to construct garments this way.
