You did make wonderful improvements to the top. We have to make a sleeveless top for our first project, Simplicity 8523, in woven fabric. I'm washing fabric for it now. I'm going to put some orange cotton I had into an indigo pot today and see what happens. I, too, had to correct my pattern for upper back curve. Wish me luck! Cute! It has beautiful lines and looks very classy. By contrast the original pattern looks very schlumpy. You have greatly improved the pattern and it looks beautiful.
