Currently in the garden there are tomato plants to the right, sugar snap peas to the left starting to climb, in rows – radishes, beets, shallots, carrots and lettuce (seen through the blueberry bushes in the foreground. We had a hot spell of temperatures in the high 80’s and lost all the spinach and kale – they all bolted. The bare spots are seeds that were recently planted of more spinach, lettuce, radishes and beets.
In the second garden on the other side of the sidewalk are sunflowers – giant and medium as well as marigolds. All started from seed as a memorial garden for my father in law who passed earlier this year.

What a lovely garden Cam! I can help annotate the picture with Skitch if you want and we can reload it showing what the plants are. It is a nice picture too!

That is so awesome. Andy’s mom brought us some tomato starts and we also planted beans which are starting to come up. Our potatoes are going gangbusters and the garlic is almost ready to be harvested, too. Can’t wait for that garlic, we’ve been out for a couple months. Andy also harvested another pound or so of rhubarb last night– yummy compote is in our future.
